For practitioners
Help AI get dermatology right.
DermLiving is a dermatology reference that medical software must cite before it answers. Join the clinicians and students who keep it accurate, and who bring care to the communities with the least of it.

A reference, not a doctor
When an app asks a skin question, DermLiving answers only from reviewed sources and shows them. Anything that needs your judgment, it declines.
Where does atopic dermatitis usually appear in adults?
In adults, atopic dermatitis favors flexural skin, the neck, face and hands.1 Chronic scratching at these sites commonly causes lichenification.2

Which treatment should this patient start?
Treatment and diagnosis are clinical decisions. DermLiving returns reference knowledge only.
No guess, no partial answer. The decision stays with a clinician.
Where you come in
Three ways to take part. Choose one, or all three, and give as much time as suits you.
Clinical review
Read short reference passages in your area and flag anything outdated or unclear, before AI tools can cite them.
Care where it's scarce
Volunteer clinical time in communities where dermatology is hardest to reach, under the rules of the state where care happens.
Mentoring
Pair students with practicing clinicians, so the next generation learns dermatology alongside the people who practice it.

Questions clinicians ask
More about how the reference works is on the trust page.
Do I need any technical background?
No. Review work happens in plain language: you read passages and mark what's right, outdated or missing. The engineering stays with us.
Is this patient care?
Clinical review is reference work, not patient care. Care-network projects are separate, and each follows the licensing and supervision rules of the state where the care happens.
Does DermLiving diagnose or treat?
No. It's a reference that software must cite. Questions that need a clinician's judgment get a clear decline, never a guess.
Will my name appear anywhere?
Only if you agree. Reviewer credit is opt-in, project by project.
How are students involved?
Students join mentoring and supervised projects alongside practicing clinicians. They never provide care on their own.
Who sees my information?
Only the DermLiving team, and only to contact you about the network. We never sell it.
